Learn BillDine

10 short lessons, about 3 minutes each. Every step has a picture of the real screen and one or two plain sentences. Start with lesson 1, or open the one you need.
  1. Set up your restaurant

BillDine made your restaurant and its six tables from your sign-up, with a few days of sample orders to explore. Add your address and tax details when you are ready.

  2. Add your menu

Put the dishes you sell into BillDine. Type them one by one, or take photos of your menu card and let BillDine read them.

  3. Take your first order and print the bill

Take an order at a table, add items, take the money and print the bill. This is what you will do all day.

  4. Take payment: cash and card

Take money for a bill: cash with change, or a card on your card machine.

  5. Tables and kitchen tickets (KOT)

Add your tables, send an order to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket), and mark it done on the kitchen screen.

  6. Set up your printer (Bluetooth or Wi-Fi)

Connect a bill printer so bills and kitchen tickets come out on paper. The BillDine app on Android finds Bluetooth and Wi-Fi printers by itself.

  7. Add your staff and give them a PIN

Add a cashier or waiter with their name, their role and a 6-digit PIN. They sign in at the POS with the PIN. No email is needed.

  8. Use a tablet at the counter as a POS terminal

Turn a tablet or phone into the POS your staff use at the counter. The quickest way takes two taps on that device.

  9. End of day: cash drawer and today's sales

At closing time, count the cash in the drawer, close the cash drawer, look at today's sales and close the day.

  10. Go live and choose your plan

When you are ready for real customers, go live and pick a plan. Your practice orders, bills and customers are cleared, and your first real bill is number 1.
